Who we are

Dieselbook is a trucking record-management service operated by Dieselbook ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide tools for drivers, owner-operators and small fleets to save loads, receipts, truck records and renewal reminders. Our website is dieselbook.com.

What information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information username, email address and password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
• Records you create load tickets, invoices, receipts, vehicle details, photos and reminders
• Usage data pages visited, actions taken and timestamps, used to improve the product
• Payment information processed by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers
• Support messages emails you send to our support address

How we use your information

• To provide and maintain your Dieselbook account and records
• To process payments and send receipts
• To send service emails account confirmations, password resets and important notices
• To respond to your support requests
• To improve the product based on aggregate, anonymous usage patterns

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data or records to any third party
• We do not use your data to train any AI or machine learning model
• We do not share your records with other users without your explicit action (e.g. sharing a link)
• We do not send promotional emails without your opt-in

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secured servers. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using Argon2. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, though no system is completely secure.

Photos and files

Photos you upload (load photos, ticket scans, receipt images) are stored in secure cloud storage. They are accessible only through your authenticated account, or through a share link you create. We do not access or analyze your photos.

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you signed in and CSRF cookies for form security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing Support@Dieselbook.com. Account deletion removes your records from our active systems; backups are purged on their regular rotation schedule.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party providers to operate the service, including payment processing and transactional email. These providers process only the minimum data necessary for their function and are contractually bound to protect it.

Children

Dieselbook is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the updated version here and notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
